Yoga | Individual, Couples, or Small Group Personalized Session: We are pleased to offer our guests personalized individual, couples, or small group yoga and movement sessions during their stay. All levels of instruction are available – from the beginner to the more seasoned at practicing yoga. Sessions may be held in a variety of beautiful and tranquil locations within the facility or on the Inn’s grounds, weather permitting. Yoga instructor Carolyn Hamstead, RN, BSN, E-RYT-200, has an extensive nursing background and brings an engaging, inspiring passion for yoga. She has been practicing yoga for over 30-years and instructing for a decade. Carolyn specializes in gentle, breathe-centric yoga for meditation and relaxation and will absolutely improve your mind, body, and spirit. Yoga instructor Heidi Saunders (RYT-200) realized early that she needed to move, stretch, fuel, and challenge her body often to feel good. In college, Heidi began teaching group fitness. Post-college, Heidi worked in corporate fitness and at local health clubs; as a manager, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. Yoga shook Heidi’s life in a profound, beautiful way as she learned all about yoga postures, breathing, meditation, and yogic philosophy; especially, “metta,” loving-kindness for herself and others. Be sure to mention if you have a medical issue, injury, or need prenatal yoga.

Gone Fishing – The Inn’s Stocked Pond: Spinning reel and rods (2) available for our guests to rent during their stay. Tacklebox & artificial lures ($9) and nightcrawlers ($6.50) available at additional cost. You can specify this when you are checking out for your reservation. Fish included large and smallmouth bass, crappie, redear sunfish, perch, and more. Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing equipment. All fishing is catch and release. Rental cost is per rod & reel set-up. $10
Let’s Go Fly a Kite: Rent a 6′ wingspan Delta kite for the day and relive some of those memorable, windy childhood moments (or create some new ones) with our kite and winder reel package – complete with kite tail and easy to retrieve winder with 600′ of strong, twisted line. Fly it in the front lawn of The Inn or take it over to the Great Lawn of Bryn Du Mansion down in the Village and give it a spin! Flies in 5-15 MPH winds. $16
Bike Rental: Bike rental includes helmets, local maps, and water bottles. Bikes are available at The Inn to either ride the surrounding country roads through the Welsh Hills countryside or we can transport you to the 45-mile long Evans Bike Trail – about 7-minutes from The Inn for a flat, leisurely ride. $25/Bike/Day
Bike Transportation to Trail: Let us transport you and your rental bikes to the beautiful, 45-mile long T.J. Evans Bike Trail. The location to start your ride in Granville is near the halfway point on the trail – which was built on an old railway bed. We can help you decide on whether to head east or west depending on your preferences. Cost is round-trip to and from The Inn and the bike trail. $14
Picnic Lunch – Inn’s Grounds or Bike Ride for Two: Relax somewhere on The Inn’s 15 acres and enjoy a classic picnic lunch of your choosing complete with a wicker basket, a large, comfy blanket, china, silverware, and glasses. Or we will pack our bike carriers with your picnic lunch and everything that you’ll need to enjoy on your ride. The price is for two guests. We will send you our picnic lunch menu with your confirmation. $55

Limited Edition Print, Signed and Numbered “Breakfast View” – Robin Roberts: Accomplished, award-winning Ohio artist, Robin Roberts, has created a signed and numbered, limited edition print of 250 prints from his original painting in 2019 at The Welsh Hills Inn titled “Breakfast View”. Guests who have stayed at The Inn will recognize this scene from The Inn’s veranda looking over the spot where breakfasts and private, candlelight dinners are served during the warmer weather from spring through fall. $54.95
