“When we decided on a last-minute getaway, we held a skeptics view of what we would be able to find on such short notice. Regardless, I turned to Google and searched ‘best B&B in Ohio’ and The Welsh Hills Inn and had an opening for the only night we had available for this trip. This could not have gone better. Granville is a quaint town, dedicated to preserving its charm and character and The Welsh Hills Inn itself is true to that form and well-deserving of all the awards they have won. The setting, house, breakfast, and hospitality, all far exceeded our hopes. For brevity’s sake, I will spare the details because they pay such close attention to each one. The breakfast was beyond what we expected in a big city luxury hotel. Additionally, sitting by the fire, enjoying coffee, and conversing with the other guests and Jeff and Bobbi, in an immaculately decorated house for Christmas with snow softly falling outside, felt like we were living a Norman Rockwell painting. Time seemed to slow for a bit, which is something we dearly needed. Unfortunately, the weather prevented us from taking advantage of the other outdoor activities they offer. However, we do plan to be back! ”
