Legendary Gallery Hop in the Short North Arts District

Known as the art and soul of Columbus, the culturally rich Short North Arts District is a pioneer in the urban revitalization of Central Ohio. Come explore this vibrant neighborhood. This unique area of Columbus is well-known for a variety of art, dining, nightlife, fashion, home décor, and unique gifts.

On the first Saturday each month, thousands converge on High Street in the Short North for Gallery Hop. It is people watching at its pinnacle! People celebrate art throughout the evening. There are new gallery exhibitions, street performers, special events, world-class food, and drinks throughout the District. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces, it’s Columbus’ favorite night of the month to celebrate art. Though many shops and galleries are open earlier, Gallery Hop officially starts at 4:00 PM and runs until 10:00 PM. Restaurants and bars stay open considerably later. Make a day of it.  Come see what all the hoopla has been about for more than three decades!

“We have been to The Inn now 2-3 times a year for the past 3-years. We were just there last weekend and will be back in a month! Our daughter goes to school at nearby Denison and this is the perfect getaway for us while we are there. Our daughter comes over for Jeff’s fantastic breakfasts and, at times, to play bocce or just hang out with us. Jeff and Bobbi are so great at taking care of anything you need. We’ve been there so many times.  Yet, with each visit, we still find new things that make up the unique character of The Inn. It is truly one of our favorite places to visit, with a great town nearby to walk, shop, and dine.  It will always be #1 in our minds – with no close #2.”
