MEET BOBBI & JEFF

New England Charm in the Heart of Ohio
Meet Bobbi & Jeff

The Welsh Hills Inn is owned and operated by hosts, Jeff and Bobbi Noe. A second career for both, Jeff and Bobbi have thoroughly enjoyed establishing and growing this charming property, nestled within the rolling Welsh Hills, into an award-winning, world-recognized Inn.

“It has been so incredibly rewarding to meet and host guests from around the world, calling many of them friends upon their departure and looking forward to their return”. This is a cherished benefit they did not necessarily foresee upon starting this new venture, but is what keeps them wanting to improve and be better each day moving forward.

Both Bobbi and Jeff, natives of Ohio, relocated to Granville when they joined Owens Corning’s Science and Technology Center upon grad school as engineers. Bobbi spent 27-years of her career with Owens Corning focused on the development and launch of new products and processes; while after 5-years, Jeff moved on to focus his energies leading Sales and Marketing teams across the country for Nalco Chemical Company based in the Chicago area. These years of hard work and travel set the groundwork for what they were to create at the Inn.

After more than 40-years, the Granville community is home and very important to them. Dedication to community and charitable causes is inherent in their make-up. Aspects of the community and Ohio are found all around the Inn. This includes their collection of original artwork focused on 130-years of Ohio art; the Local Artisan Shoppe which is filled with handmade treasures; and at breakfast and dinner where they utilize the local farm-to-table philosophy. Also, both provide active leadership on local non-profit and for-profit boards, providing strategic planning and consulting services on a regular basis.

The Inn is currently sponsoring the “Turn up the Pink” project. Working with local glass artist, Aaron Buchholz, a series of beautiful hand blown glass orbs, ornaments and vases where created for the Inn’s gift shop. Proceeds from the sales are donated to the OSUCCC-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.

While it has now been several years since leaving the corporate world, Jeff and Bobbi remember their lives during that time very well. While they loved it, they also understood the need to get away to recharge. Their aim at the Inn is to provide everything you need to accomplish this.

Make your reservation today at this hidden gem within the beautiful Granville countryside and experience “Relaxation. Redefined.” for yourself.

“Fabulous seems an inadequate description. Before you even reach The Inn, you’ll be struck by the property – the sheer size, the forest, the pond with a fountain (stocked, by the way, if you want to fish). The building and decor are beautiful – artifacts in every room and hall. There are more amenities than usually seen at a B&B – outdoor swimming pool and pool house, hot tub, table tennis, walking trails, and extensive porches with wonderful views. Now for what really matters. When you stay at a B&B, more than anything, I think, you are renting your hosts. Bobbi and Jeff are tremendous hosts. They make you feel right at home (better, really – you don’t have to cook here!). They are so warm and welcoming, you won’t want to leave. They think of the little things that indicate how much they care about their guests – wine & cheese in the evenings, chocolates in your room. They want your stay to be as wonderful as you do. If you’re anywhere in the Central Ohio area, this is the place to stay!”

MEET THE INN DOGS – ELLIE & WRIGLEY

Meet Ellie & Wrigley

Your first impression of The Inn might be right upon stepping out of your car on arrival. Dakota, our 1-1/2-year old golden retriever, and Wrigley, our 10-year old Miniature Australian Shepherd, love to meet and greet our guests. They’ll often patiently wait for you to exit your car, hoping for a simple pat on the head or a belly rub, and then walk you right to the front entrance of The Inn. We often wonder whether it’s The Inn itself that brings our guests back or, deep down, just wanting to see Wrigley and Dakota again! They’re certainly part of the “soul” of The Inn.

“Thanks to you, I have more pleasant memories to add to my life. Your “abode” is pleasant, peaceful, and RELAXING. It’s filled with beautiful art work, books and more books – which are both among my favorite things. And, those sweet, adorable dogs are such wonderful company, too. So glad to be able to enjoy such a peaceful and warm setting in this busy world we are living in today. Blessings to both of you for your caring and sharing!”
